Summer is the time for cute accessories! My summer style is often pretty simple with t-shirt dresses or a maxi dress. Any summer outfit can be dressed up with the perfect accessories. Wherever your summer takes you, there’s at least one great accessory for your outfit of the day.
Investing in a few great accessories is the best way to keep your wardrobe feeling fresh + fun. For those looking for a more cost-effective way to get those trendy summer looks, accessories are the way to go. You can wear all your basics and dress them up with different accessory items.
I’m sharing the best trending summer accessories and favorite brands. Make sure you’re on trend for summer 2022!
1. Gold Rings
You can dress up any outfit with simple gold rings and jewelry. I recently discovered the brand Aurate. Aurate New York has beautiful options and styles perfect for summer. 2. Pearl Detail Accessories
Lets be real here – pearls can be expensive! But, a lot of brands are using imitation pearls to create trendy summer accessories. Pearl detail trends have taken off since spring 2022. I am loving all of the affordable pearl detail items this season, they’re so cute and girly.

Nordstrom has really outdone themselves with this trend. At Nordy’s you’ll find this trend a lot, including jewelry, apple watch bands, shoes, bags, etc. All of the accessories!
At DSW you can find pearl detail summer sandals. DSW is somewhere I swear I can always find a few cute pairs of shoes.
3. Crossbody Bags
Crossbody bags are my favorite style! This style makes it so easy to take your bag wherever you go. This is a must-have for your summer accessories.
If you’re like me, you probably have a lot planned for your summer – farmers markets, festivals, etc. A cute crossbody bag is the best for being hands free and stylish.
I recently added the Coach pillow Madison shoulder bag to my wardrobe. Coach is a personal favorite for purses + their summer collections are always the best. If you’re thinking about treating yourself, I definitely recommend this bag.
Investing in a good bag this summer would be a great option to dress up your basics and staple wardrobe pieces.

4. Sunglasses
Sunglasses are a must have for your summer accessories – not only to protect your eyes! But, this accessory completes your style + there’s so many unique glasses out there. I prefer the oversized sunglass look, it gives more coverage.

5. Pendant Necklaces

The hair claw clip has come back in trend this year – and we are here for it!
Hair claw clips have gone viral once again, I love that this works for short and long hair. Theres different ways you can style your hair with these.
You’ll want to keep one of these in your bag all summer, just in case it heats up. I keep hair accessories in my car too, just in case.
7. Sun Hat
Lastly, an important accessory for those sunny days – a sun hat!
In my opinion, a sun hat is always a good buy! Another necessary accessory for those hot sunny days.
